This may be the first media player I've seen that inisists on runnig full screen. I also had Windows 10 default font sizes at 20 and the program's interface was completely broken.Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display. Bought it a few years ago, it's telling me now that it only is a trial version and wants to push me to buy an upgrade. Can use it only for 30 days now. I have stopped using it now because of that.. I bought this a while back during a https://groupees.com/software2 bundle and at the time it was a few dollars loss. Zoom Player would only play a few formats making VLC far superior. I decided to see if the program has aged and matured and it has, by a very small amount Now it can play a DVD @@!! I tried to play a physical dvd with vlc player but it thought it was a blueray !>!>!> so i tried zoom player and wow it works and it ZOOOMS. Does not play normal Blu Ray movies. That is to say, you can't buy a Blu Ray movie, put it in your Blu Ray drive, and play it with this media player. A complete waste of money, as it just uses the FFMPEG codecs. VLC is an easy replacement for this.. Purchased this in steam sales. I have been looking for a media player to run all my music & movies. This so far is ticking all the right boxes. I was running VLC for my media and old school winamp for my music. So far Zoom Player is looking like a winner!. Utterly useless, plays hardly any video files at all. Free players like VLC run rings around this piece of junk.. I tried the demo, played a few videos, and was quite impressed with it. I had a few other Media-Players installed on my computer, but right away I could notice better crispness, clarity and an overall greater quality of the video and audio that I see and hear with Zoom Player. I like the simplicity and intuitive feel of the controls, yet there are still a lot of options available that I can experiment with and set things to how I like. This will now be my default Media Player, and I'm glad to have bought the full version to help support the Developers of this high-quality software. For a full list of features and comparisons of the different versions of Zoom Player, visit the following page: http:\/\/inmatrix.com\/zplayer\/pro\/versions_home8.shtml PS: As for the argument I see from some, "Why buy Zoom Player when there's plenty of free media-players available?".... Well, call me strange, but I like to help support the Developers of programs I enjoy and use.Yes, there's free media-players out there, but they also tend to have a "Donate" option some place on their website or an option to upgrade to a Pro version. Plus, there's also a free-version of Zoom-Player that can be downloaded as well.. This player in no way can replace or improve the functionality and library control of JRIVER even MPC .... codec control sucks.. does not work properly or is just outright missing ... for playback of PASS-THROUGH M2TS files or lossless .iso image files of my HD collection. And even in the mess of the program, It does do this, then it in no way makes anything any easier like it said it does.... Oh stop using multiple programs to run music and movies and photos... Get it all under one roof....HA!.... i;M GOING TO BE STICKING WITH MPC (FREE) AND JRIVER $99 superior audio playback and organization with all codecs for serious digital lossless media libraries....mine going over 1300 movie titles blu ray and better and 30k plus audio lossless tracks .. a solid program with great library layout is paramount.... this is not. Not really bad actually, but not as good as media player I'd like to used before Announcing Zoom Player v14.2: Highlights: New "Favorites" fullscreen navigation interface. Lunar New Year sale: Hi Everyone,We are participating in the Lunar New Year sale, which has already started.Enjoy!. Announcing Zoom Player v11: Hi Everyone,It's been nearly 8 months since Zoom Player v10 has been release and these 8 months have been all about making Zoom Player even more polished and user friendly. To begin with, the media library has undergone a major face-lift with the new Thumbnail view mode, which is now the new default (but can be disabled, see below).A lot of work went into ensuring the media scraping code (grabbing screenshots and meta-data from media in the background) is smooth and stable, especially when dealing with incomplete or corrupted media files. The new interface is simple, flexible, sophisticated and optimized to run smoothly on even lower end 7" windows tablets.I have re-written the media library documentation to introduce the new thumbnail view feature and it includes new quick usage guide screenshots to illustrate how the thumbnail view interface is used as well as a few usability tricks to help make the user experience more enjoyable.Beyond that, Zoom Player can start up up to 40% faster, The default skins (Onyx & Alba) now features mouse-hover animation to draw the eye's attention for an improved user experience and you can now switch background images for customizable fullscreen navigation interfaces without leaving fullscreen navigation. What's more, the new thumbnail view interface is the starting point for v12 which will include an API to add 3rd party media scraping plug-ins as well as a default plug-in for The Movie Database to automate online scraping of additional meta-data and movie posters. Please leave feedback, especially with regards to the new media library thumbnail view mode.Check out the complete change list for v11:http://inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_whatsnew.shtml. Announcing Zoom Player v9.4.1: Legend : "*" = New "+" = Change "-" = Fix--- What's new in Zoom Player v9.4.1: * Clicking the selected item count checkbox in the playlist, file browsing and media library fullscreen navigation interfaces now acts as a shortcut to the extended file selection page. * New scenecut editor "Pause Playback" entry type. * Introduced stricter sub-type format checking to prevent errors. + Auto-Showing the control bar when the mouse cursor is moved to the top or bottom of the screen (selectable in the options) now triggers when the mouse cursor is up to 4 pixels away from the top/bottom instead of the just the top/bottom pixel. - Trying to play all files in a directory did not ignore unknown file extensions, adding them to the playlist instead. - With the "Auto-Size User Interface to maintain Video Aspect Ratio" setting enabled, triggering an action OSD (like "Pause") would cause the window to auto-resize. - A bad sub-type in the H.264 video decoder smart play profile could have caused issues under certain conditions. - Selecting "all matching multi-part files" from fullscreen navigation interfaces could select non-file entries such as "Previous Directory" and others.--- * The Complete Change list history can be found on-line at: http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_whatsnew_archive.shtml.
